6. When Windows XP’s New Hardware Wizard opens, select No, not at this time and click Next.
7. Select Install from a list or specific location and click Next.
8. Click Browse to browse to the directory where you installed the configuration file you downloaded in Step 1 and click Next. Windows XP uses the configuration file to configure itself to support USB tethering with the Android phone.
9. When Windows XP finishes installing the software for Android USB Ethernet/RNDIS, click Finish.

Procedure - 
 
1. Install JDK, SDK, Unlock Root.
2. In SDK, download "Google USB Driver" and "Android SDK Platform-tools"
3. Copy "adb_usb.ini" which you had created earlier to "X:\Users\(your PC name)\.android" Where X = The Drive letter of your OS and your PC name is the username in which you've done all the above steps. Delete everything except AVD, cache and adb_usb.ini
4. Uninstall "only" SDK from Control Panel.
5. Copy everything from here to a text document as you will have to reboot your computer/laptop, turn of the internet and connect your phone to the rear port of your CPU or any port of your laptop.In your phone, go-to Settings->Applications->Development->Tick "USB Debugging. You should see installing drivers when you boot, if not, Right Click on Computer->Manage->Device Manager->Your Device->Drivers Tab-> Update driver->Browse My Computer->Select the "extracted" folder of the A87 drivers you downloaded earlier and tick the "Include Subfolders option". The drivers will start installing.
6. Open "Unlock Root" and click root, select your device, it'll take a while, sip a cup of coffee in the meantime and then, your phone is rooted.

Steps to Install CWM Recovery on Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos I9082

Step 1: Extract Odin3_v3.07.rar and CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.zip files using winrar/7zip/winzip or any other extracting tool.
Step 2: Copy Fix-Recovery.zip and UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.25.zip files to external SD card of phone.
Step 3: Switch off the Galaxy Grand Duos. Then boot the device into Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down + Home buttons together and then press the Power button until the device turns on. Now press the Volume Up button to enter Download Mode.
Step 4: Run Odin on your computer.
Step 5: Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable while the device is in the Download Mode. A message saying Added will arrive under Odin's message box in the bottom left. You will also get to see COM port with a number in Yellow when the phone is connected to the computer successfully.
Step 6: In Odin, click the PDA and select the CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.md5 file. Also, ensure the Re-Partition option in Odin is not selected.
Step 7: Double-check and click Start in Odin. The installation process will now begin.
Step 8: Once installation is completed, the phone will reboot automatically. After the home screen appears, unplug USB cable from the phone to disconnect it from the computer.

Steps to Root Galaxy Grand Duos I9082 by Installing SuperSU via CWM Recovery
Step 9: Reboot phone into Recovery Mode by pressing and holding Volume Up + Home buttons together and then press the Power button until the device turns on.
Step 10: Now select install zip from sdcard, select choose zip from sdcard and then navigate to the Fix-Recovery.zip file. Select and confirm installation by selecting Yes.
Step 11: Return to main recovery menu and repeat Step 10 but this time choose UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.25.zip file.
Step 12: Once installation process is completed, return to main recovery menu and select reboot system now to reboot phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos I9082, running official Android 4.1.2 XXAMCE Jelly Bean, is now rooted successfully.
